Mum of E - Age 9
“My 9 year old Daughter has recently used Lou when we found out that she had dyslexia.
Lou helped my Daughter build a positive outlook and managed any emotions she had. She loved her sessions with Lou and looked forward to them weekly"
Mum & Child H - Age 11
"My son was struggling with self esteem and regulating his emotions. He felt as ease with Louise straight away & looked forward to his sessions, he was keen to show us what he had learnt in the sessions, I think he would have loved to keep seeing Louise each week!
Louise has a brilliant way at talking about things in an easy way for children to understand, by playing games & using illustrations. I have seen a big difference in my son, he is more positive, he knows what his emotions mean and how to cope with them better, as do we as a family.
When I asked him what he would say about Louise he said “It helped me a lot, 5 stars”
Child A - Age 17
"Louise’s coaching has been significantly beneficial to my mental health and wellbeing. I suffer with anxiety and she has helped me tremendously to overcome certain obstacles and personal struggles with her superb advice when it comes to my anxiety and various steps to build my mental wellbeing.
Lou is an amazing, professional coach who makes me feel comfortable and understood with her kind nature. I couldn’t recommend it enough!"
Child L - Age 13
"When Lou was coaching me, she put me at ease. She asked for my boundaries and carefully went through them. Which helped me with my confidence at school and outside of school. Lou is very easy to talk to, I’m shy to new people but I instantly felt safe with Lou. She eased me in to talking by played games and we got to know each other so it was very relaxed.

Since having Lou coach me, I feel that I’ve become more confident within myself and I feel I now have the confidence to tackle issues I might not have been able to talk about previously. I’m really grateful to Lou for helping me. Thank you, Lou."
Mum of L - Age 13
"When it was first discussed with Lou about L having coaching, it really couldn’t have come at a better time. L had been bullied last year at school by girls that were her friends from junior school. This went on from January to October 2023.

After I had taken L to talk to the Doctor in the March, I was concerned about L not eating and becoming very distant and upset. This wasn’t normal behaviour from her so the Doctor had suggested some form of counselling and we were referred to the YES centre but it was an extremely long waiting list. In the August L had a call from a lady at the YES centre, and they talked about why L might need counselling or some sessions with the YES centre. But since then, we have not heard a thing from them.

L’s self-esteem had hit an all-time low, she didn’t have confidence in doing things and she struggled to understand why it had happened to her. Her way of dealing with things that are upsetting can be to not eat, that is the one thing she can control so she will not eat when she feels sad or low. After months of asking L moved form class and had a fresh start in October 2023, but that bullying experience had changed her. She wasn’t the fun loving girl she used to be.
In January 2024, Lou started seeing L weekly and even after the first session I noticed that L seemed brighter in herself. Lou would help L with how to think about things and deal with any issues she was facing. They would talk about building her resilience. Lou was giving L the tools on how to deal with things, I would hear them laugh and by using fun things they could tackle whatever was on L’s mind.

After the sessions L would tell me about what they had done and it was very evident that Lou’s coaching was the reason she was feeling good about herself again. Just by L being given the chance to talk to someone who isn’t a parent, someone that isn’t a teacher but someone that she can talk to confidentially and not worry about what's said in that moment. To be able to explain why she was feeling like that, it’s a big thing for a teenager. In a short space of time, Lou has made a big impact, I honestly cannot thank Lou enough. I have my happy go lucky, confident daughter back and it’s all down to Lou’s brilliant coaching."
